Imagine digging up an artifact from an ancient civilization, and studying our backyard prairie woodland area, and the rainforest.  The middle school team approach enables sixth graders to incorporate Language Arts, Math, Social Studies, Science and Reading into several interdisciplinary units of study.  By using a basic topic as a theme and relating all academic subjects to it, the students begin to realize the interrelationship of all subject areas.  Open the Word Document below to read more about our 6th grade classes.
